What Tartans do you offer?

We offer a range of Clan, Family, District and Ceremonial tartans. We have over 500 to choose from, some variants including modern, ancient, hunting and weathered. Our kilt tartan is 16oz lambswool woven in Scotland. If you have a specific tartan in mind, let us know prior to booking and we can make sure we have all the variants available to choose from.

I don’t have / don’t like a family tartan but want to have a kilt made!

Don’t fret. Many Scottish families don’t have their own tartans but are traditionally tied to some of the larger Scottish Clans like Campbell or MacDonald which means you can wear their tartan. That said, there are plenty of district and other tartans that may appeal to you that we can discuss. It’s your kilt, wear what you want.

How long will it take after the first meeting to have my order?

Our lead times are around 8 weeks from first meeting to delivery. We will always try to get your order through quicker and if there is any delay for any reason you’ll be the first to know. We work with small, local manufacturers with most of our products produced by hand.

Can I buy my full outfit at one time?

Yes, we offer the complete highlandwear package. At your fitting you will be able to choose from our curated collection of artisan Scottish products.

How do I pay?

We ask for 50% deposit on the order at your first fitting and the balance settled prior to delivery. We will notify you when your order is ready and payment can be made online via paypal, stripe or through bank transfer.

How will my order be delivered?

Once your order is placed we get to work on making your bespoke items and packing everything up. We then ship each item to you in our beautiful packaging ready for trying on in the comfort of your own home. Your complete outfit will arrive at your home complete with care instructions and garments bags for safe storage.

What if my jacket needs altered?

We understand that sometimes tweaks will have to be made to ensure the perfect fit. We’re happy to alter garments purchased from us free of charge initially, any alterations needed after that will be charged at the standard rate.

What is your returns policy?

Bespoke items cannot be returned, refunded or exchanged unless defected as our fault. Any and all issues will be dealt with case by case.
